All members of the Global Education Course, who are also faculty on the International Network of Educational Institutes (INEI) Committee, have put on their many hats as affiliates in activities with our collaborative partners, the Educational Vision Research Institute (EVRI) at Hiroshima University.

The past year has included presentations on the state of educational research and practicum implementation during the pandemic and its outlook in a transition from it. As depicted in the photo above and below, our roles have spanned everything from working as presenters and emcees for this particular EVRI event (which can be found at this link), to organizers for the innovative conference known as PELSTE 2021 spearheaded by EVRI. Our course members were heavily involved in the following sections:

Peace Education Section:

Lesson Study Section:

Finally, faculty from our course have contributed to research efforts with EVRI in a forthcoming chapter reflecting on these events and their fit within the international dialogue on experiences of institutional resilience in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. More information on this book will be updated here as it becomes available (TBA).
