CEDAR pedagogy pioneer and course professor present public webinar

The Research Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Hiroshima University hosted a webinar entitled “Living with Different Cultures” with an appearance from our very own Dr. Tinka Delakorda Kawashima and Dr. Adam Seligman, pioneer of the innovative pedagogy, “Communities Engaging with Difference and Religion” (CEDAR).

The event was held on March 8, 2021, and the video of the webinar is available with support of Japanese language at the YouTube video below. For more details on the CEDAR pedagogy, you can visit the following link: https://www.cedarnetwork.org/2021/04/19/webinar-on-living-with-different-cultures-cedar-japan/

The webinar was comprehensive in scope and eye-opening in its emphasis on experience-based learning and community education. We are looking forward to further strengthening our collaborative partnerships both with the Research Center for Diversity and Inclusion and with projects that feature the CEDAR pedagogical approach.
