Due to the impact of the pandemic, conventions for learning have shifted in numerous ways.
An online lecture series called “Enhance Your Knowledge - Hiroshima University’s 100 Special Lectures” was developed to broaden access, promote courses, and introduce topics to new audiences that are available at our institution.

Among the few with a focus on English language support in this limited series, two lectures by our very own Dr. Kabir (“English Communication in Context”) and Dr. Delakorda Kawashima (“Interculturalism in Education”) were selected, filmed, and approved for asynchronous online learning via YouTube.

The content of these lectures strongly support and emphasize the mission of the Global Education Course and our commitment to providing a space for critical thinking about society, language, and all things intercultural. Prospective students can find the two lectures at the video links below. We would like to thank the media team on campus for their hard work in shooting, editing, and clearing permissions to use materials for educational purposes.
